The handover ceremony stole the show internationally of the Olympic Flame in “Paris 2024” held in Kallimarmaro. The handover ceremony started at 6.30 in the afternoon with Nana Mouschouri having a central role, while Nikos Aliagas was the presenter. The president of the Hellenic Olympic Committee, Spyros Kapralos, handed over the Olympic Torch to the president of the “PARIS 2024” Organizing Committee, Toni Estange, to continue his journey to Paris.
As reported by ERT, he performed the Olympic Anthem the vocal ensemble “CHORES” accompanied by the National Symphony Orchestra of ERT. The Artistic Direction of the Choir has been taken over by Marina Satti, while the Musical Direction is by Michalis Oikonomou.
The Touch of the Torch was made by Protheine Mary Mina for the ceremony of the Olympic Flame that will travel from Athens to Paris where the Olympic Games 2024 will take place. The departure of the Olympic Flame was accompanied by his musical composition by Dimitris Papadimitriou and its interpretation , the Soprano Myrsini Margariti.
The Flame will spend the night at the French embassy and tomorrow (27/4) it will “board” the three-carrier “Belem”, bound for the port of Marseille, where it is expected to arrive on May 8 to be received by the French swimmer and the first French Torchbearer of land, Florent Manodou.
