Lorenzo Brown, in statements he made to Israel Hayom after Maccabi’s defeat in Game 2 by Panathinaikos, left sharp points against the “greens”.

Panathinaikos AKTOR reacted and with the forwards of its two captains, Kostas Sloukas and Ioannis Papapetrou, prevailed over Maccabi Tel Aviv 95-79 in OAKA in Game 2 and brought the series even.

Lorenzo Brown, who a few hours before the game was sure that his team would make it 2-0, after the end of the game in statements he gave to Israel Hayom was caustic and left spikes against the “greens”.

The Israeli journalist, Moshe Barda, in his article in One, explained (from his side) what happened in OAKA and why Ergin Ataman not only did not talk to him, but even rejected him…

“I do not know what to say. I do not play or participate in this game being played on social media. I don’t know how to explain the behavior of Panathinaikos, it was cowardly. Complaining about referees is not basketball. You prepare a game and if you win… you win, if you lose… you lose,” the 33-year-old Maccabi guard initially said.

As for the continuation of the series, he said: “We’ll have to look at what didn’t work in the second game and try to fix it. I believe we played correctly, but Panathinaikos took advantage of their home ground and got a difference. We managed to get close, but we couldn’t pull it off because they scored a lot of points from our silly mistakes.”

Panathinaikos beat Maccabi 95-79 and tied the Playoffs series between them. Watch the best phases of the match.

Of Baldwin’s injury he said: “Wade is a big part of our team and if he’s gone we’ll have to make some adjustments to our game. But we played without him at the beginning of the season and we responded. This is what we should do now, if necessary.”

For the support of Maccabi’s friends in Belgrade next week, he underlined: “The presence of our world can have a positive effect on us. Our audience always creates a great atmosphere. This year we missed them all season but we got here united. I hope we have as many people as possible with us.”
