The first proposal for Arne Slot was rejected by Feyenoord, the two teams are in negotiations

In his face Arne Slott Liverpool have found a replacement for Jurgen Klopp, who after nine years will be a thing of the past from the Merseyside club’s bench.

According to The Athletic, the Reds have submitted an official offer to Feyenoord for the acquisition of the 45-year-old technician, whose contract expires in June 2026 and has no release clause.

The said offer has reached 9,000,000 euros, with Liverpool expected to come back with a new improved offer, as after Xabi Alonso’s decision to stay at Leverkusen and the case of Ruber Aborim who went back, Arne Slott is the first favorite for the post-Klopp era.

Last year (2022/23) the Dutch coach led the Rotterdam side to the top of the Eredivisie and their first league title in six years and this year he celebrated winning the Dutch Cup.
