Panathinaikos: Top derby at OPAP Arena for the Super League playoffs

Whoever wins takes the title step. AEK and Panathinaikos have a derby at OPAP Arena (20:30, Cosmote Sport 1 HD, Newsit.gr) which can give a huge… boost to winning this year’s Super League championship.

The Athens derby between AEK and Panathinaikos in OPAP Arena dominates the program of the 7th matchday for the playoffs in the Super League and has the character of a “bra de fer” for this year’s champion title.

AEK will become the big favorite for one repeat title to Super League or will Panathinaikos come out on top and – with high morale – go on to win the championship, which last season they lost in the final of the playoffs?

The “yellow and black” are in the first place of the scoreboard (72b.), at +1 from the “greens” (2nd, 71b.). They are followed in 3rd place by PAOK (67 points) and in 4th place by Olympiacos (66 points), but both with less matches (the one between them in Toumba which was postponed due to their matches in the quarter-finals of Conference League).
