An Iranian MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) fighter who kicked a girl in the ring before the match.

The match of the Hardcore MMA tournament between the Iranian Ali Heibati and the Russian Arkady Osipyan took place in Moscow on Friday night. Before the match started, as reported by the Daily Mail, kicked a ring girl in the rear holding a card that said the first round was starting.

After what happened, Heibati asked through social networks sorry from the woman called Maria. “I didn’t behave properly,” he wrote and justified his stance by saying that “I just wanted to go out and fight.” “I’m a married man, so I respect the female sex. She did her job and I, after the fight, didn’t even admit my guilt, because they also hit me on the head,” he writes.

Despite his apology, Heibati was banned for life from the HFC Championship.

Videos of the incident show that the woman was taken aback by Heibati’s behavior and approached him to express her disapproval. The referee intervened to keep them away and appears to have warned Heibati for his behaviour.

The fight started a few minutes later, but Osipian secured the victory by TKO in the very first round.

But as the referee escorted Osipian to his corner after declaring him the winner, Heibati stood up and he began to attack his opponentlanding multiple hits while his back was turned.

He was quickly removed while several people entered the cage to separate the two men.

There was also a follow-up: the wrestlers then took the mic inside the cage.

Heibati appeared annoyed by something he was told and tried to kick a man in the head while arguing with him.

Television footage showed Heibati then being attacked by people in the crowd after the match, as he was pushed into chairs and received several blows to the head.
