Pancreatic stage: Earlier than planned due to worsening weather conditions
Closed on the evening of Monday 22 April 2024 for precautionary reasons main field of the Pangriti Stadium earlier than planned due to gale force winds blowing through the area according to the National Weather Service forecast.
THE decision was made always with the safety of the athletes in mind and the staff.
As reported by cretalive.gr, the initial decision was to close Pankritio on Tuesday, April 23 due to the weather conditions, however, their worsening with the strongest southerlies forced the closure of the stadium to take effect from today.
It is emphasized that the auxiliary field will be available for use by athletes and sportsmen, while the operation of the swimming pool will continue as normal.
Access to the gym will be available internally from gate 1-3 (and not gate 9) with parking up to gate 3.
Athletes and visitors are requested to follow the instructions of the staff and its security personnel Pankriti Stadium who will be there for their convenience.
