After winning the championship and triumphing in the final over Panathinaikos, Olympiakos coach Daniel Castellani explained that he will leave the red and whites and choose another path in his career.

Olympiacos celebrated winning the Men’s Volleyball League after beating Panathinaikos 3-2 in the tie break. The coach of the Greek champions shared his first thoughts in the flash interview after the end of the match and the triumph of the red and whites and explained that he will leave Piraeus.

What Daniel Castellani said in detail:

It was a good game in the final. The last few games had it all. We had a really good final, we pulled off a big upset and the lads put in a great effort.

In Europe we showed our very competitive face against top teams. Maybe we could do something better with Arkas but we are fine. In the last two matches we suffered but during the season we increased our performance dramatically.

I will definitely not stay, I will choose another path. The club knows this. I’m sad because I had a great time here, a real family, a great club with amazing fans.”
