Place de la Concorde

The largest square in Paris, the one that connects the Champ-Elysees with the Jardins des Tuileries and Louvre, is where Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette died by guillotine in 1793, as did hundreds of other people during the Terror in the French Revolution. In 1795, in a gesture of reconciliation and peace, the Place de la Concorde got its current name, which in Greek translates as Omonia Square.

The historic square will be the scene of its youngest sports Paris 2024. Here, BMX, 3on3 basketball and skateboarding will be held. Here, he will make his Olympic debut and the break dance, a sport based on hip hop culture. If you can’t find tickets for the events, you can learn more about these and other new events that combine sports with urban culture and young creativity at SPOT24. It is an exhibition space and cafe-bar next to the Seine, the product of a collaboration between the city’s Tourism Organization and the Olympic Museum of Lausanne, Switzerland.

In addition, a good idea is to get tickets for the Parc Urbain La Concorde. It is an entertainment area next to the venues where the games will be held with DJs, giant screens, meet-the-athletes sessions, demonstrations of urban sports and a skate park.
