The vice-president of PAE Olympiacos, Alexis Kougias, made statements after the end of Piraeus’ match with PAOK, in which he was placed for the Aris-AEK game (1-2).

In particular, he called the match in question “a barbaric insult for all teams”, while he called on the Prosecutor to investigate the game.

What he said in detail:

“I don’t want to talk about the great football we watched today. A really awesome game. I want to talk about para-football. I want to talk to all the Greek fans.

What Manzios and Karipidis did today is not just a change in the championship. This is a barbaric insult to all Greek teams competing today.

This is a barbaric insult to all Greek fans. But mostly, this is a barbaric insult to Mars. Aris is not Veria nor Moschohori, the village of Karipides.

Mars, a very large group, cannot be used in such a way for sly stories. I’m calling on the DA to investigate the tape of the game, but also the odds at the bookies, that were on the overturning of the score. I don’t want to say anything else.”
