“This year Maccabi have a great mentality and character because they are really united. The adversities they face have made them stronger. They are one of the most cohesive teams, one of the best well-tuned machines we have in the EuroLeague right now, with the continuity they have as a team.
That’s why I think they’ll get a win at OAKA at the start of the series, but I’m predicting Panathinaikos to qualify in five games because I think they’ll take back the advantage in Belgrade. They have the home advantage, they will have 19,000 people every night at OAKA and that will be a crucial factor in the series.”
