Olympiacos returned to winning ways, as they prevailed over PAOK in Pylaia with a score of 63-77. Piraeus reached the positive result with the amazing Mustafa Fal as the leader. The French center scored an amazing triple-double, counting 11 assists, 10 points and 10 rebounds, in 35 minutes of participation.

The match

Olympiacos started the game with Woucap, Kanaan, Brazdeikis, Peters and Fal in the five, while PAOK entered the match with Fridrikson, Harrison, McNeese, Beliauskas and Margaritis. Peters was the most active player of the visitors. He was smartly cutting inside the racket, putting shots, going for layups, making the score 5-10 in 6′. The Lithuanian forward found a goal from the perimeter, with Kanaan bringing the difference to +8 (7-15), with Barzokas throwing on the floor at position “5” and Tanoulis. Fal and Lountzis began to get along better, the circulation of the ball improved, with the red and whites in the 18th minute leading by +6 (25-31). In the end, the excellent Papanikolaou took action, scoring baskets, stealing balls and handing out assists, with the end of the first half finding the visitors leading with a score of 28-37 at 20′. From the first half, Olympiacos kept 14 assists and 61% of the two-pointers.

In the second half, the fighting PAOK reduced the difference (34-37) after Fridriksson’s three-pointer, with Olympiakos looking for a way to score. In the last period, Olympiacos continued with Walkup, Goss, Papanikolaou, Brazdeikis and Fal, with the captain of Piraeus bringing the difference to +13 (53-66) in the 36th minute. Somewhere there the Piraeus controlled the pace of the match, the amazing French center achieved a dream triple-double, with Larentzakis shooting the difference to +18 (56-74). In the end, Peters also played at the “5”, with the guests reaching the end in victory with a score of 63-77.
