High temperatures do not seem to be a problem for Saudi Arabia, which, after receiving the green light from FIFA for the 2034 World Cup, says it is ready to host it at any time of the year.

In the World Cup that was hosted in 2022 in the stadiums of Qatar, history was made since for the first time in the institution it was held in winter and not in summer, which makes many to assume that something similar will happen in 2034 as well, after Gianni Infantino’s public statement that the final phase of the World Cup that year will be held in Saudi Arabia.

However, this should not be taken for granted, with the president of the country’s football federation, Yasser Al Mishal, stressing with his statements to “AFP” that Saudi Arabia has the ability to organize this great football event even in the summer .

“There are many new technologies that allow us to cool or air-condition all stages, not to mention the fact that many cities in the kingdom enjoy a very pleasant atmosphere in the summer.

We are ready to face all possibilities,” he said, with Saudi Arabia currently the firm favorite to host the tournament as it is the only country to have submitted a bid for the 2034 World Cup finals.
