Next weekend’s Super League 2 opener will not be televised, but the league is in talks with ERT and they are close to a deal

Super League 2 held a Board of Directors meeting via teleconference on Monday (18/9), in which the television contract for the coverage of the league was discussed.

The league is in talks with ERT but they still don’t have an agreement and so the premiere of the championship, unless unforeseen, will not have television coverage.

At the same time, it was decided that the “Institute of Sports Analysis” would undertake the video recording of all the matches on behalf of the organizer.

The league will start next weekend 23/24 September and will finish on 22 May. Of course, there will be a difference, in the event that Almopos Aridaias is not justified in the second degree in the EPO and is permanently out of the league.

The Super League 2 announcement:The meeting of the Board of Directors of Super League 2 was concluded where the following decisions were unanimously taken:

• The “Sports Analysis Institute” undertakes the video recording of all matches on behalf of the Organizer.

• The calendar of the 2023-2024 competition season was approved. The league will start on the weekend of 23-24 September 2023 and finish on 22 May 2024 for both groups of Super League 2“.
