The referee of the 2022 World Cup final between Argentina and Gaul, Simon Marciniak, was the worst on the field according to the Equipe.

Final referee Simon Marciniak was the negative star for the French, who believe his whistles played a role in the outcome of the 2022 World Cup final and Argentina’s crown.

The leading French sports publication, Equipe, in the ratings it distributed to players and footballers, gave 9/10 to Kylian Mbappe, 8/10 to Lionel Messi and… crushed another star.

The Polish referee was rated 2/10 by the French publication, with the Equipe mainly complaining about the penalty that made it 1-0 and the disciplinary control of the match.
