The national team sent the ball into the net in the 87th minute after a shot by Fouda inside the area, but did not celebrate the 1-1 draw, with the referee disallowing the goal after the assistant’s decision to raise the flag for Hadzidiakos’ offside.

The National team tried in the second half to score a goal and get at least a draw against Cyprus, in the match between the two teams for the 5th matchday of the Nations League group stage, but did not achieve their goal even if they sent the ball in the net.

This happened in the 87th minute, with Fouda beating Panagi with a shot inside the area but seeing his goal disallowed after the assistant referee signaled Hatzidiakos for offside, with Gustavo Poget’s players strongly protesting the decision but to not change and the 1-0 for the home team to stay until the final.
