The story of Jael Hill, who had disappeared in Costa Rica, had a tragic end. His family informed about his death.

The thread of his life was cut too early Jaylen Hill. As his father himself announced on Instagram, the 22-year-old former UCLA center passed away while his relatives were looking for him in Costa Rica and had reported him missing.

Our hearts are broken. We understand that many will have questions, but we cannot share details at this time“, wrote George Hill characteristically.

He was a very good boy with a great smile” said Josh Giles – his high school coach. He was a great athlete, but I loved him as a person“, he added.

Jalen Hill had graduated from Centennial High School and was starting his college career with dreams at UCLA. However, he missed his first year, because in November 2017, together with Cody Riley and LiAngelo Ball, they were arrested for shoplifting in China, and as a result, they were removed from the team.

Over the next three seasons he played in 77 NCAA games averaging 6.5 points and 6.4 rebounds.
