Stefanidis: The government does not give a passport to her coach because her mother was a candidate with SYRIZA

The highly vindictive behavior of the New Democracy government was revealed by Katerina Stefanidis, as her husband and coach does not get the passport she needs as her mother was a candidate with SYRIZA.

The 32-year-old athlete, in an interview she granted to SDNA and Argyro Giannoudakis, referred to the futile efforts made by her and her husband, Mitchell Krier, for the American to receive an honorary Greek passport.

“The reality is that because mum went to the polls with SYRIZA, I found myself begging for the last three years for Mitch to get an honorary Greek passport. We chased it harder because of covid, thinking it won’t be able to enter the country. Since there was no such issue, I stopped bothering. After all, they are now telling us clearly to our faces, no. To Tom Hanks, of course, they gave it, since he has obviously offered more to Greece”, Katerina Stefanidis pointedly noted, revealing that the government turned its back on the request of her American husband and coach, Mitchell Krier.

Apparently, the government’s attention to such issues is only directed at cases of type… Yassam Ayawefe and Walid Abu Saud.
