About threats, vulgar messages but also about a wild scene of sexual assault against her friend by Petros Filippidis, spoke today in her testimony at the Mixed Jury Court of Athens, a witness friend of the second woman who had denounced the well-known comedian and group leader for attempt to rape her.

The investigated incident with the attempted rape of the young actress took place, according to the indictment, in 2010 in a theater dressing room and while the complainant had met with P. Filippidis in the context of a professional collaboration they were about to start.

Today, at the trial of P. Filippidis, the witness referred to everything that her friend and complainant had told her about her controversial meeting with the actor, while she did not fail to note that she had also worked with him in 2016. That is, six years after the investigated attack and while she had been informed about it by her friend and colleague.

He told me that he opened her legs, she was screaming, trying to push him away. In her attempt to escape, she knocked and thus the accused found the opportunity to approach her again. He got to the door and told her he was going to destroy it. He managed to get away,” the witness testified characteristically about the scene of the alleged rape attempt to add: “I had a man in front of me who was very upset. I told her to calm down and we’ll see what we do. At that time, her cell phone rang. We saw that a message came from Mr. Filippidis. It was beyond obscene. Probably the ugliest thing I’ve ever seen. He was asking for sexual acts and telling her that he wouldn’t get away with it next time.”

Yes, the witness to a question about whether she had advised her friend to denounce P. Filippidis, in 2010, replied: “I’m very embarrassed about it but I didn’t think about it. Mr. Filippides was a very powerful man. At that moment I did not believe that this thing was happening. I shouldn’t have handled it like that. I was trying to comfort my friend. I didn’t even think about filing a complaint. Sorry S. I didn’t think of that.’

Yet, during her testimony the witness also referred to her own collaboration in 2016 with P. Filippidis at the National Theater but also in a congratulatory message she had sent him after what her friend had confided in her.

In her testimony she said of the accused actor: “We had a very good collaboration. He’s talented. We had a good, typical relationship. We never worked together again. In 2017, his assistant called me to work together, but I had booked someone else.” However, as the witness mentioned, when she heard the proposal for cooperation, she was disturbed because she had learned about P. Filippidis’ abusive behavior and extramarital affairs, but, as she said, her colleagues told her that “at the National Theater she would not be able to do such things ».

With regard to the congratulatory messages that she allegedly sent to her colleague, the accused today, the witness said: “In Thessaloniki on a tour they joked that it is the feast of Peter and Paul. Because the boy I was dating at the time and later my partner was called Pavlos, I sent a message to both of them.”

Prosecutor: I am surprised that while something so serious has happened to your girlfriend you cooperated with him?

Witness: Being an actor is a very tough job. I had a contract with the National, I am not from a rich family, I could not afford not to work. When things are so difficult you can betray your solidarity.

Prosecutor: Did you get her?

Witness: Yes, I informed her immediately. He told me to go and work, that it will be at the National and the environment will be protected.

Paredros: The greeting messages?

Witness: It was somewhat diplomatic. So that the rejection is not taken as personal.
