The glam party for the christening of Mary Katrantzou’s son in Spetses – Who went, the impressive setting

The christening of their son was held on Wednesday afternoon by the world-renowned Greek designer Mary Katrantzou and her husband Marios Politis, a distinguished professor of Neurology.

The couple, who a year ago climbed the steps of the church in Spetses thus sealing their love, saw their happiness complete a few months later when their first child was born.

Although they live permanently in London, Mary Katrantzou and Marios Politis chose Spetses for their son’s christening, while the day before they held a private dinner party.

The holy sacrament took place in the Holy Church of Agios Nikolaos in Spetses in a close circle and the neophyte took the name Michalis with godfathers Pavlos Glixburg and his wife Marie Sandal, Eugenia Niarchou and jewelry designer Sabine Getty. In fact, the godmothers made glamorous appearances with custom made creations by Mary Katrantzou.

After the christening, a glam party followed in a fairy-tale space where a scene had been created with four tables in different colors, impressive art de la table and sparkler show.

Among the guests were Marianna Goulandris with her mother, Christianna Vardinogianni, Vicky Kaya with Ilias Krassa and their two children Bianca and Karolos, Marietta Chrousala and Leon Patitsas with their three children, the Minister of Education Niki Kerameos, Chrysanthos Panas and others. Everyone together celebrated the joyous event by constantly uploading on social media photos from the mystery and the reception.
