A 15-year-old’s bath had a tragic end at noon on Sunday in Nea Flogita, Halkidiki, as the teenager was pulled out of the water unconscious, only to be pronounced dead a short time later.
According to the website thestival.gr, the tragedy was revealed when the 15-year-old’s cousin saw him face down in the water but thought he was joking.
But when a few seconds passed and she approached him, she saw that he was not responding. Then he turned him upside down and found him foaming at the mouth.
Bathers took the 15-year-old out of the sea and tried for a while to bring him back. In a few minutes, an EKAB ambulance arrived at the scene and took the young man to the Moudani Health Center. Unfortunately, however, the unlucky young man ended up.
It should be noted that there was a lifeguard on the beach while a defibrillator was used to bring the unfortunate young man back to life.
