The technical director of AZ, Max Hauberts, made public the attitude of the Dutch club regarding the existing interest in the Greek internationals, Vangelis Pavlidis and Pantelis Hatzidiakos, with SPORT24 revealing what Lecce’s proposals for the 25-year-old stopper included, as well as the minimum of the requirements for its granting.

What is the price for Hatzidiakos?
However, Hauberts did not stop there, also answering a question regarding the recent news about Lecce’s interest in Hadzidiakos. Here his attitude was different, as was the approach of AZ for the Greek defender, for whom if a satisfactory offer comes, then it is granted.
The technical director of the Dutch team confirmed the interest, but emphasized that for a player with “over 200 games with AZ, international with Greece, we cannot accept proposals regarding the loan of“.
And such, according to the information of SPORT24, were both the offers submitted by the newcomer to Serie A club. The first at the end of June, with an extremely low purchase option, the last two weeks ago, including in this particular case an improved purchase option, amounting to 1.5 million euros.
However, it is obvious from the statements of the transfer commander of AZ that proposals of this kind and of this size are not evaluated as even debatable, especially taking into account the interest that exists in Hatzidiakos from other teams (more serious than a second Italian team), but also the pricing that Dutch club, which does not “listen” to anything less than 2-2.5 million euros.
Whoever offers that sum – including Lecce, who are still in the running and it remains to be seen whether they can meet AZ’s minimum demands – will at least have Hauberts’ attention for a meaningful deal for Hadzidiakos. .
