A 3.5-year-old girl who drowned in a hotel pool in Paphos had a tragic end. The Greek Cypriot family was on holiday in Paphos, when the little girl was brought back at 4:50 in the afternoon, having asked her parents for permission to go to the children’s pool.
Under circumstances that are being investigated, the little girl was found floating unconscious in the large pool, while the lifeguard immediately rushed to help.
The little girl was taken to Paphos General Hospital where she was unfortunately pronounced dead.
Police investigations are in full swing.
