Fire in Thassos: The fiery front is raging in Potamia

The fire that broke out on Friday night in Thassos, in the area of ​​Potamia, is currently ongoing.

Although the front had been brought under complete control in the morning of the same day, in the end late at night it seems that there was a resurgence, which caused the intense mobility of the fire brigade.

According to the information of the Fire Department at enikos.gr at the moment, 185 firefighters with 15 pedestrian divisions, as well as 38 vehicles, are operating. At the same time, volunteer firefighters and local water bodies help.

A short while ago, the first aerial vehicles rose to help quickly extinguish the sudden fire that broke out. In particular, these are 3 helicopters and 2 aircraft.
