The dean complains that students blocked him in his office

Protest carried out by his students University of Patras against the disciplinary proceedings against four students of the institution outside the Rector’s office with him complaining that he has been trapped in his office since 12 in the morning without being able to escape.

In accordance with pelop.gr on their part the students they argue that the chancellor has not been banned, but accepts a peaceful protest so that the prosecutions of the students are lifted.

For his part, the rector Christos Bouras vehemently denies this claim, citing slander, claiming that it is not a peaceful demonstration when there are approx. 100 people painting walls, they have surrounded cars and made the dean a poster.

Mr. Bouras, in his post on Facebook, reports: “For 4 hours now, the Rector of the University of Patras has been trapped in his office and his car is being guarded so that he does not use it to escape. I want to state unequivocally that I am not afraid of anything and I will not leave the University. Today at the University we will announce the Olympian Mr. N. Kaklamanakis as an Honorary Professor. Let the Political System take its responsibilities and break the guilty silences. Everyone knows and is aware. Such anti-democratic and interventionist actions must stop and those who support them must be condemned. The Public university it belongs to everyone and has no owners.” He claimed that he remains blocked and that he has appealed to all the Authorities.
