It is in progress firewhich took place in a forest area in the area of Agios Stefanos in Laconia.
Information from the Fire Department states that no residences are currently threatened, however the strong winds blowing in the area make the firefighting work difficult.
40 Firefighters with 2 teams of pedestrian departments, 11 vehicles, 1 helicopter and OTA vehicles are operating at the scene.
