The pain of the loss tears my soul apart, states New Democracy MP Yiannis Kallianos in his farewell post about his father.
In his emotional post, Yiannis Kallianos refers to his family, but he does not fail to address charges against the Attica Hospital and the teacher responsible for his father’s care. “But some made sure that you never left that room of the Vascular Surgery clinic. “Professor Kakkisis said that you are doing well and that you don’t need more support when you were dying of shortness of breath,” says the ND MP.
The father of Yannis Kallianou passed away today, after being hospitalized at the “Attikon Hospital”, regarding which the ND MP complains that he was not treated as he should have been. An EDE has been ordered for the case by the hospital administration.

My dad (my badauli as I used to call you), I love you immensely and you will give me immense strength until I come to meet you too. A week ago your brother died, we never told you so your condition wouldn’t get worse. We wanted to tell you little by little when you would leave Attica. But some made sure that you never left that room of the Vascular surgery clinic. Professor Kakkisis was saying that you were doing well and that you didn’t need more support when you passed out from shortness of breath. My brother was begging him to put you on the platform for ICU or to find you an ICU and they looked at us with wonder because they said that your tests were excellent. I never expected that this moment would come when the pain of this loss would tear my soul once and for all. I did what I could, I turned the earth upside down. I did not make it. I apologise. Some uncaring people arranged for your own life. I hope their children never see them the way I saw you. God have mercy on them. Good Heaven my dad. Thank you for giving your life for us, for mom, for raising us and making us humble people. You will be by my side and in me forever. They dried my tears, my dad.
