In fact, TVs with a diagonal of 75 inches and above are estimated to represent the 20% of the market.
According to the executives of the subsidiary of the Korean giant, Greek consumers have now begun to demand larger and larger televisions. The category of diagonal TVs 55 inches it is the one that has the largest share, based on value, but the 65-inch ones are now very close and are expected to rise to the first place soon. In fact, 40% of consumers in our country state that they would buy an even bigger TV.
Samsung’s emphasis on larger models is also evident in the new series announced yesterday by the Korean company, which bets a lot on its sports events summer (Euro 2024 and Olympic Games), which traditionally boost TV sales. Easy installation extends to SmartThings-compatible Samsung devices in the home, as well as third-party and IoT devices, thanks to compatibility with the Matter protocol. This eliminates the need for additional nodes, so compatible devices, from lighting to security sensors, can be managed directly from the TV.
Among the new models, the 2024 series stands out Neo QLED 4K with many interesting features such as Real Depth Enhancer Pro in the QN90 and QN95 models and Quantum Matrix technology, thanks to which the screen ensures amazing contrast even in complex scenes. Samsung also introduced the Glare-Free OLED screen (model S95D), which prevents annoying glare, maintains deep blacks and offers high definition images under any lighting conditions.
The 2024 series also includes the latest Q-Series Soundbar, the Q990D, with 11.1.4 channel tuning via Wireless Dolby Atmos. This is a model that comes with a lot of features incorporating functions such as Sound Grouping for full sound. In addition, it allows users to enjoy their content through the rear speakers without disturbing those in the room.
Finally, Samsung presented the brand new Music Framewhich allows users to display personal images or artwork while enjoying wireless audio with smart features.
