Xavi remains at Barcelona

A twist in Xavi’s case. According to Mundo Deportivo, the Spanish coach has reversed his initial decision and will remain at Barcelona until 2025 and honor his contract.

In fact, soon this decision will be made official. According to the Spanish publication, Laporta will announce on Thursday (25/4) that Xavi will continue with the Blaugrana.

Barcelona sporting director Deco met at the training center with Xavi. After this meeting, everyone went to Laporta’s house, where the discussions continued, resulting in “white smoke”.

Not long ago, Xavi announced that he would leave at the end of the season. Laporta appeared positive that he would convince him and, it seems, he succeeded.
