Determined to demand responsibility from the administration and doctors of the vascular surgery clinic of the “Attikon” hospital for his father’s health adventure, is Giannis Kallianos.
“I am not offended by the sweet-salty announcements of “Attikon”. To do everything for my father who is hospitalized in the ICU. I will reach the knife to the bone”, emphasized the ND MP and meteorologist, Yiannis Kallianos on Live News.
Mr. Kallianos described the hospital’s announcement as “salty”, underlining that “I hope, if the commander of Attikon, Mr. Apostolopoulos, and every doctor who is at the specific clinic of the hospital has children, that they do not see the children of these people their father to fight as I saw mine”.
As Mr. Kallianos explained, his father had a diabetic foot, he had sugar and in the last few days the big toe of his left foot started to turn black. First they took him to the Asklepiion Hospital of Voula where they were told that they cannot deal with a vascular surgery case.
“Then, we took him to Attikon, where he underwent surgery on his leg. Afterwards, however, he had shortness of breath, but the doctors told me that ‘your father is doing very well and his tests were great'”, said Mr. Kallianos and pointed out: “My father started to have more and more severe shortness of breath and the doctors told us, however, that he was getting better every day.”
“The professor, in such a serious case of a patient like my father, decided that he did not need to be admitted to the intensive care unit. You can’t imagine how deep I’ll drive the knife into the bone. A sweet announcement from the governor of the hospital who is not a governor,” he said and added:
“We were asking for him to be admitted to the Intensive Care Unit and we were told that he was doing better. My father finally had a seizure and is now in intensive care. He should have come in earlier. At night, my father almost “gone” – They brought him back, but they give a 5 to 15% chance that he will live”, said Mr. Kallianos.
