Spartans: “Block” from the Supreme Court for the European elections

The A1 Department of the Supreme Court announced the final list of parties that will participate in the June European elections, leaving “out” the Spartan party.

Petitions against the participation of the Spartans were submitted by ND, PASOK and New Left.

The “Spartiates” are being checked for their connection with Ilias Kasidiaris, who was convicted for the Golden Dawn case.

11 members of the Spartan parliamentary group have been prosecuted for possibly deceiving the Parliament and the electorate, regarding the person who holds the leading role.

The decision of the electoral court is now awaited on the objections that have been filed regarding the legality of the election of Spartan MPs.

With the unanimous decision of the Supreme Court, 31 parties out of a total of 46 will claim the citizens’ vote in the June 9 European elections.

According to information, 14 parties had not submitted the required fee of 20,000 euros.
