Unbelievable images unfolded inside the Parliament and specifically right outside the Plenary when one MP was attacked by another.

It is about the member of the Hellenic Solution Vassilis Grammenos who was punched by the Independent former member of the Spartans Konstantinos Floros.

Mr. Grammenos receives first aid at the Parliament Clinic.

What happened – Frame by frame the attack

The incident took place while the Plenary Session of the Parliament was discussing the lifting of the immunity of the president of the Hellenic Solution, Kyriakos Velopoulos, following a lawsuit filed against him by the father of Konstantinos Floros, who accuses Mr. Velopoulos of lashed out via a hidden twitter account.

Despite the efforts of those present to restrain the former Spartan, now an independent MP, this proved impossible.

As soon as they left the Plenary and while they were on the stairs, MP Vassilis Grammenos was punched by MP Konstantinos Floros, as a result of which he was taken injured to the hospital.

Expulsion of Floros

The reaction of the president of the Parliament, Konstantinos Tasoulas, was immediate, and he spoke of brutality by announcing to the Plenary that Konstantinos Floros was suspended for 15 days from the work of the Parliament.

K. Tasoulas said that this penalty is a “caress”, but he justified it since, as he said, “this is what the regulation provides for”.

The former member of the Spartans will also be referred to the Ethics Committee, while his immunity will be requested to face the criminal consequences of his act.
