In Astypalaia, the president of SYRIZA, Stefanos Kasselakis, remains blocked due to the weather conditions, as part of the tour he has started in the Aegean islands in view of the European elections on June 9.

Shortly after the interview he gave to Giorgos Liagas, the president of SYRIZA invited his followers through his Instagram account to submit any question they wish to him for him to answer.

Internet users responded to the call, one of them being George Liagas, who asked Stefanos Kasselakis if he will invite the Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, to his wedding with Tyler Macbeth.

Kasselakis’ answer to Liaga’s question

The response of Stefanos Kasselakis was as follows: “Thank you George Liagas for responding to my call. I won’t invite the prime minister because the wedding is only for close friends and family. But what’s interesting is when the prime minister goes to a same-sex couple wedding, will he answer for the unrepentant Drama MP who calls me male or female? Will he answer for the 1/3 of his parliamentary group that abstained and for all those who have taken advantage of homophobic speech? Or do we just ignore them and then manipulate the citizens with targeted campaigns, with Market Passes and Food Passes? Here’s the question.”

The other questions asked to Stefanos Kasselakis

Among other things, he was also asked if he gets cold in the short sleeve he wears on tour: “Of course not, I went to high school north of Boston. There you can see what -20 points I got”.

On whether he will increase funding to public universities: “Of course yes. There is no greater investment in our fiscal problem as a country than investing in public education. It is the investment that has by far the greatest long-term return. It is very important that Greek children can study in their country. To excel in their country and then our country as an economic entity to be competitive on a global level”.

As for whether he would co-govern with the ND, he answered: “No. I cannot co-govern with parties that have dependencies on banks. Dependences on a propaganda system, with parties that have driven the country to the rocks. From there on, ND is indeed a pluralistic party, it’s just pluralistic towards the extreme right. So if the people of the progressive center want a modern society and an open economy that is regulated, they have plenty of room to be active within SYRIZA”.

At the same time, he gave advice to people who are being bullied, but he also answered the question of whether he will manage to reach Rhodes.
