Celine Dion is facing her serious health problem with great strength.
In the new photo shoot she did for French Vogue, the 55-year-old singer did not hesitate to be photographed topless, wearing a white tank top and pants and covering the disputed point with her hand.
The singer went public with her diagnosis in December 2022 and largely stayed out of the public eye, until November 2023, when she gradually started performing again. In fact, in 2024, a documentary about her health journey is expected to be released, entitled “I Am: Céline Dion”.
The Stiff Man Syndrome
In the interview she gave to the magazine, the beloved artist spoke openly about the “Stiff Man Syndrome” she suffers from and her battle with it.
It is a rare neurological disorder that affects the brain and spinal cord. The battle is very difficult as her muscles become paralyzed. “It’s a syndrome that turns people into statues because it locks up their functions and they can’t walk or move.”
As she said, at first she wondered why this had happened to her, what had she done wrong? “Life doesn’t give answers, you just have to fight” he said.
Systematic exercise and physical therapy
He mentioned that he works out 5 days a week and does physical therapy and voice treatments.
As for if and when she will return to the stage, Celine Dion says there is no answer yet. He fights every day and looks every day to improve. “I don’t know, my body will tell me,” he said.
I have not beaten the disease, it is still in me and always will be but I hope we will find a miracle, a way to cure it
