Disruption was caused early in the morning of Tuesday, April 23, on the Ring Road in Thessaloniki, by a pile-up of five vehicles. In particular, under unknown circumstances, shortly before 07.00 in the morning, at the height of Damaria in the stream to the West, a collision was recorded with the vehicles involved: a garbage truck, a military bus and three cars.
As a result of the incident, a person riding in a vehicle was slightly injured, while very quickly a traffic jam was created in the area.
The injured person was taken to a hospital for first aid, with traffic officers trying to regulate traffic on the Thessaloniki Ring Road.
It is rush hour with hundreds of cars moving on the Ring Road. Drivers are seeing traffic jams on the backstretch, with many scrambling to find out the reason for the delays. The Traffic Police estimates that the situation will be cleared within the next few hours.
