The tour of Stefanos Kasselakis to the islands with the boat “Par Afron”, with which he “plows” the Aegean, captained by Admiral Evangelos Apostolakis, is expected to cost more than 20,000 euros.
Stefanos Kasselakis started the tour of the Aegean islands last Saturday. As he said in a post on twitter, the goal is to visit 29 islands. “on a tour that no politician has ever done”, as he said.
The boat with the strange name “Par Afron”, which refers to… elsewhere, has already provoked comments, such as from the Minister of Health, Adonis Georgiadis.
However, the secret to the playful name lies in the space between the words: “Par’ Afron”, meaning next to the foam (of the waves, obviously).
Of course, the nautical tour also has… storms, as, as he announced, due to the weather conditions and a large swell, he will not risk continuing, at least for today, and so he will spend the night in Astypalaia, the sixth consecutive stop of the tour of the islands.
In a related post on social media, Stefanos Kasselakis states: “6th stop Astypalaia. For today, we will spend the night here. Unfortunately, we will not be able to continue our tour to Halki and Symi due to the weather conditions”.

The boat “Par Afron”, rented for the tour by the president of SYRIZA, costs – according to the company that manages it – at least 2,095 euros per day, starting price.

The total value, that is, of the original and if nothing else expensive tour is expected to cost more than 20,000 euros, just for the use of “Par Afron”.
The boat chosen by the SYRIZA president, apart from the strange name, has a number of amenities to safely accommodate his team on this ten-day trip.
In detail, as you will see in the following images, the “Par Αfron” boat is 15 m long, 3.95 m wide, and can accommodate up to 10 people.
It has two cabins, one bathroom and was built in 2023, while it “wears” two engines, from 480 hp each.
Regarding the technological part, of course the boat has the latest generation instruments.
