“K” reveals their history and background blackmail for which the 38-year-old presenter-publisher and another 56-year-old presenter are accused.

The publisher-presenter, who has also concerned the authorities in the past, allegedly threatened two people that he would present them as pedophiles in the electronic and print media he controls, if they did not immediately pay the amounts he was asking for.

The case of the singer

According to information from “K”, the first case concerns a singer who, through the mediation of his friend, met about ten days ago in the Ampelokipis of Thessaloniki.

The latter introduced himself as a newspaper and website owner and they came to verbal agreement for Internet advertising campaign.

However, when the singer did not immediately pay the first of three equal installments, amounting to 2,480 euros, that had been agreed upon, the presenter-publisher allegedly threatened both the artist and his friend who had mediated that “will destroy them”, defaming them.

Initially he allegedly demanded the agreed amount, so that he would not do so, and then he demanded more money, namely 14,880 euros. In fact, to exert further pressure, he sent the singer a link publication on the website, in which the artist was characterized as a pedophile. The article was accompanied by his photo. Four days later, he sent another link to the singer, allegedly announcing more revelations in the Sunday paper.

He was asking for 200,000 euros

In a second case, a man met the editor-presenter at the Thessaloniki casino, after mediation by a journalist, asking him to “help” him in a legal dispute he had with his ex-wife.

However, when he realized that the assistance provided would be exclusively for the construction and publication of false news against his ex-wife, for a fee, the man backed down and there was no deal.

The presenter-journalist allegedly contacted the man repeatedly, initially asking him for 20,000 euros so that he would not publish the article on the website, in which the man would be presented as his son’s rapist.

In fact, in mid-April, he published an article in his newspaper, with his initials and a digitally altered photo of the man, which had been caught from his accounts on social networks. The article gave a detailed description of it.

After repeated phone calls from the publisher and the “intermediary” journalist to the man, in an attempt to convince him to give in to the blackmail and pay the 20,000 euros to a third party, their monetary demand amounted to 200,000 euros.

Eventually, an article was posted on the newspaper’s online website, citing his identity details, along with a photo of him. In the publication in question, the man was described as the rapist of his minor son.

In both cases, the victims did not give in to the threats, nor did they pay the sums allegedly requested by the well-known presenter-publisher.
