There is no end to the complaints about the 50-year-old antiquities guard in Nisyros for sexually harassing or abusing children aged 10 to 15, which have reached 11 in total.
Another mother of a 14-year-old boy revealed that the 50-year-old approached children and through their sports activities as a team player, gave them drugs and sex toys.
We remind you that the case became public after a complaint by the father of a ten-year-old child, a refugee resident of the island, who was in danger of being deported due to a lack of documents, while the parents of the students who also protested outside the Nisyros Police Station.
The love nest and the lessons
“Yes, he has given drugs to some kids from the group. Our own child told us that there were also cameras in the toilet, and that he had made it into a kind of love nest. In other words, he was telling the children, bring your girl and I will give you the key,” said the mother of one child.
“Not only did he show pornographic material, but he also walked around the house naked. He also showed sex toys along with videos and when he tried to touch him, my relative got up and left and never spoke about it again and now that everything came out, because he wasn’t afraid, he told us everything,” said a relative of another child.
The father of a 15-year-old claimed that the guard had invited his son and his group to the museum, where he showed them various instruments and films.
“He went to teach them how to attract, a woman a girl. He was showing them some instruments and said ‘you’ve got to be clean-shaven’ and he pulls his pants down and says ‘there you go,'” the 15-year-old’s father said.
“It’s all a hoax”
Already the parents of six children have filed complaints and given statements, while five complaints are still in progress. The children also proceed to testify after being examined by a psychologist at the Rhodes Hospital.
The watchman, it seems, did not limit his action only inside his house. An EDE has been ordered against the 50-year-old who is accused of indecency, while he has already been suspended by order of the Minister of Culture Lina Mendoni.
However, the guard maintains that all this is a ruse and a trap set against him by the father of the first complainant, with whom, as he claimed, he had previous experiences.
