Sergey Lavrov launched new threats to the West, talking about nuclear weapons again. Russia’s foreign minister said US, British and French support for Ukraine was fueling serious strategic risks, raising the possibility of a direct confrontation between the world’s biggest nuclear powers.
Moreover, Lavrov estimated that the US and NATO are obsessed with the idea of achieving a “strategic defeat” in Russia and added that there is a risk that this confrontation will lead to an increased level of nuclear danger.

“The West is moving dangerously to the brink of a direct military conflict between nuclear powers, which will have devastating consequences,” the Russian foreign minister stressed.
“Of particular concern is the fact that the ‘troika’ of Western nuclear countries are among the main financiers of the criminal regime in Kiev, the main instigators of various provocative steps. We see strategic risks in this, leading to an increase in the level of nuclear danger,” Lavrov added.
It is noted that the three Western countries that have nuclear weapons are the USA, Britain and France.
