Celine Dion: She sang after 3.5 years, surprising everyone

While making her first public appearance a few days ago and 3.5 years to the day since she was diagnosed with Stiff Person Syndrome, Celine Dion stunned everyone by taking the stage to sing.

Last week the hit singer of our time stepped out to watch a hockey game between the Vegas Golden Knights and the Montreal Canadiensdecided to take the microphone and share a good moment with everyone in the stadium.

According to Chantal Machabéevice president of communications for the hockey team of Canadiens, Dion looked genuinely happy at that moment. “I know he has good days and not so good days, but this was a very good day. She’s been through a lot, and to see her like this and smile and be so happy… it’s amazing,” Machabée revealed of Dion.

During this rare outing and her first public appearance in years, the music legend was “talking, laughing, having a good time. “It was an incredible moment. She is an amazing woman,” Machabée added

.On October 30, Dion entered the locker room of the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas to cheer on her hometown team. The players respectfully welcomed the performer along with her sons René-Charles, 22, and twins Eddy and Nelson, 13, and exchanged handshakes and heartfelt messages.

After Dion wrapped up her visit, Machabeée shared photos with the “I’m Alive” singer on Instagram. “We had a beautiful visit to the game in Las Vegas yesterday. Thank you @celinedion for your generosity. The whole team is so happy to have met both you and your family,” he wrote.
