A Special Plan for Intensive Traffic Policing on specific road axes has been designed by the Traffic Directorate of Thessaloniki, in the framework of construction works of the Elevated Expressway Flyover project.
As announced, until the start date of the construction works, staff of the Thessaloniki Traffic Directorate will inform citizens – drivers, while, in addition, traffic controls will be intensified along the main road axes.
On K. Karamanli – N. Egnatia – Egnatia – Monastiri, of the road axis at the western entrance (Old Station) – 26 October – N. Kountourioti – L. Nikis – 30 October – G. Papandreou – Adrianoupoleos – E. Venizelou – Ethni . Antisis – St. of the Agricultural School and the road axis on Eth. Resistance – V. Olga – V. Georgiou – M. Andronikou – Tsimiski – Polytechnic – West Exit (Old Station).
As stated in the Traffic announcement, every illegally parked vehicle will be removed so that the entire road surface can be used for current vehicle traffic.
