Lemnos: The fire brigade remains in the area, however the strong winds blowing in the area make any attempt at extinguishing impossible.
Great fire broke out on her island Lemnos on Tuesday night, which according to the local media is moving on three different fronts.
Her powers fire brigade remain in the area with 25 firefighters with 8 vehicles and water tankers and a project machine of the Greek Army, however the strong winds blowing in the area make impossible any extinguishment attempt.
According to President of the community of Sardis, Dionysi Balderano in limnosreport, the fire is moving between Sardis and Agios Dimitrios, Sardis and Dafni and the third front is developing in Papia.
The sky of Lemnos has turned crimson, but the hopes for control of the fire are attributed to nature and development of weather, since the forecasts give rain within the next few hours, otherwise the big fire can cause irreparable damage to inhabited areas of the island.
