The moments during the magnificent concert were unique, the artistic supervision of which was Manolis Androulidakis. Acclaimed artists, Rita Antonopoulou, Violeta Ikari, Dimitris Kanellos, Polyxeni Karakoglou, Marilisa Luntzi, Costas Triantafyllidis they performed landmark songs of the popular struggle and the anti-dictatorship struggle. “Ena to Helidoni”, “Leventis”, “Mera Mayou”, “Antonis” and many others captivated the audience, often forcing them to burst into applause and sing loudly the well-known lyrics. Of course, the two songs related to the concert venue, “Dioti den synemmorfothin” where Mikis was inspired by an incident in Oropos prisons, as well as “Don’t forget Oropos”, could not be missing.
The indelible melodies of the great composer were played by the musicians: Giorgos Katsikas, Periklis Malakates, Nikos Papanastasiou, Stathis Savvidis, Orfeas Tsaktsiras, Marina Tsokani and Manolis Androulidakis himself with his guitar, who also conducted the orchestra.
