The Holy Temple of Pammegisto Taxiarchon Milea was flooded with sacred sound color with the performance of Pergolesi’s most famous work, “Stabat Mater”.
The Municipality of South Pelion organized a quality musical performance ahead of Holy Week and Easter inside the Holy Temple and the performance of the “Stabat Mater” was a musical feast, which “enchanted” the attendees.
Apostolis Mitras (Violin I), Emmanuel Meletiadis (Violin II), Vasso Alexiou (Viola), Irini Barouta (Cello), Nikos Panagiotidis (Lute), Panos Galanopoulos (Organ), Fanziska Niewind (Soprano), Leda Filippopoulou (Mezzo) , Choir of Residents of South Pelion “HORTODIA” and Nikos Adraskelas (Director) received the applause and cheers of the participants in the musical mystagogy.
The Mayor of South Pelion Michalis Mitzikos and the Deputy Mayors Apostolis Dianellos and Apostolis Kafetzis congratulated the musicians and choirs.
The “Stabat Mater” concert will be repeated on Sunday, April 28, 2024 at 12.00 noon at the Cultural Center.
