Lately, a lot has been said about Justin Timberlake’s behavior towards Britney Spears. The reason is Spears’ memoir, The Woman in Me, which contains several bombshell revelations about her relationship with Justin, reports the buzzfeed.

What has generated the most comments so far is Britney’s revelation that she had an abortion during their relationship. In the book, Britney describes the abortion as “one of the most painful things I’ve ever experienced in my life” while saying she went through with the procedure because Justin “didn’t want to be a father.”

“It was a surprise to me, but it wasn’t a tragedy,” Britney writes about the pregnancy. “I loved Justin very much. I always thought we would start a family together one day. It came much sooner than I expected. But Justin was definitely not happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren’t ready to have a baby, that we were too young.”

In the wake of these revelations, and in anticipation of more to come when the book is officially released, Justin’s demeanor has changed. Some speculate that he or his team use bots to defend him online.

While a video has also resurfaced of Justin performing his 2002 smash single “Cry Me a River” at Dave Chappelle’s birthday party earlier this year (which he wrote about his breakup with Britney).

The video includes not-so-subtle hints about their relationship, as he talks about someone – who looked like Britney – allegedly cheating on Justin. In The Woman in Me, Britney says the clip presented her as “the whore who had broken America’s golden boy’s heart.” She also describes her experience after the video was released saying “I was in a coma in Louisiana and he was running around happily in Hollywood.”

In the video from Dave Chappelle’s party, Justin can be heard saying before starting, “They told me not to sing that song… f*ck it.”

“Sure, his apology to Britney in February 2021 was very sincere,” quipped the person who shared the video on Twitter/X, referring to Justin’s public apology to Britney (and Janet Jackson) after the screening of the Framing documentary Britney Spears.
