Let’s say he cannot distinguish Kostas Ferris of the iconic “Rebetikos” from the important director of photography and editor, Nikos Kavoukidis.
A little while ago, a press release was sent by the Ministry of Culture from today’s unveiling of the bust of Philopoimenos Finos, whose contribution and role in Greek cinema are indisputable, in the park of the Larissa station. The comedies of Finos Film have taken the place they deserve in the history of old Greek cinema. Modern Greek cinema is experiencing the tragedy of Ms. Mendoni being the Minister of Culture.
