The first trailer of Inside Out 2 is here and it brings the feeling of anxiety!

It’s been over a year since we had news about the movie’s sequel”The Minds You Carry(Inside Out) since its announcement at the 2022 D23 Expo. Now, the Disney and the Pixar are ready to give a first satisfying look at Inside Out 2which is expected in theaters this summer and about what to expect from the new feelings of the now-teenage Riley.

After Riley moves from Minnesota to San Francisco, she must adjust to her new surroundings. THE Joy (Joy) her Amy Poehler and the rest of the gang are faced with a new feeling entering Riley’s mind: the stress. In the role of “Anxiety” we meet her Maya Hawke of Stranger Things, who lends her voice to the emotion that will throw Riley’s family of emotions up and down, as she’s in no mood to sit back and enjoy the ride. But how will Sadness, Fear, Disgust and Anger react?

All of this, along with the tumultuous experience of adolescence, will find Riley in an explosive cocktail of emotions as she risks losing not only her friends, but her family as well.

Of course, it is worth mentioning that several names of the voice cast such as Bill Hader (Fear) and the Mindy Kaling (Disgust) are missing from Inside Out 2, while Poehler remains as Joy, o Lewis Black (Anger) and the Phyllis Smith as Sadness. As Disney informed the official cast of actors, they were replaced by Tony Hale and Liza Lapira respectively.

The first film Inside Out was awarded the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature in 2016 and was one of the most successful films of the year, grossing over $858 million.

Inside Out 2 will premiere in cinemas on June 2024.
