“Venom 3”: New release date after the end of the strike in Hollywood
The premiere of the highly anticipated new Venom movie, which was scheduled for July 12, 2024, has been pushed back to November 2024.
The news about Venom was announced a few hours after the temporary agreement of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG-AFTRA) with the Hollywood studios to end the multi-month strike of the actors.
The film is currently untitled and the script remains a top secret. It is also recalled that Kelly Marcel, who wrote the script and produced the first two films, will direct the new production based on her own script.
The production is also signed by Tom Hardy and Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach, Amy Pascal and Hutch Parker.
It is noted that the first two films starring Tom Hardy told the story of journalist Eddie Brock and his carnivorous alter-ego, Venom, and both premiered in the same month, October.
