In two days, the much-anticipated sequel “The Marvels” starring Oscar-winning actress Brie Larson is expected to hit theaters. However, a few hours ago the latest trailer of the film was released during the New York Jets – Los Angeles Chargers game.
According to the official synopsis the Marvel Studios film follows “Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel as she reclaims her identity from the tyrannical Kree and exacts revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. But unforeseen consequences force her to shoulder the burden of a destabilized universe.
When her duties send her into an anomalous wormhole connected to a Kree rebel, her powers tangle with those of Jersey City superfan Kamala Kahn aka Miss Marvel and her estranged niece-turned-SABER astronaut Captain Monica Rambo. This unlikely trio must work together to save the universe as ‘The Marvels’.”
Starring with her are Teyonah Parris and Iman Vellani as well as Zawe Ashton, Seo-Jun Park, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapoor Kapur) and Samuel L. Jackson (Samuel L. Jackson) among others.
In addition to directing, Nia DaCosta also wrote the screenplay along with Megan McDonnell, Elissa Karasik and Zeb Wells.
The movie “The Marvels” is expected in theaters on Thursday, November 9.
