Shortly before the premiere of the long-awaited sequel “The Marvels” with the Oscar winner, Brie Larsonsaw the “light” of publicity the last trailer of the film during the game “New York Jets” – “Los Angeles Chargers”.
According to the official synopsis, the film of the Marvel Studios follows “Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel has reclaimed her identity from the tyrannical Kree and exacted revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. But unforeseen consequences force her to shoulder the burden of a destabilized universe.
When her duties send her into an anomalous wormhole connected to a Kree rebel, her powers tangle with those of Jersey City superfan Kamala Kahn aka Miss Marvel and her estranged niece-turned-SABER astronaut Captain Monica Rambo. This unlikely trio must work together to save the universe as “The Marvels”.
Tejonah Paris and Iman Vellani star alongside Brie Larson as well as Zooey Ashton, Park Seo-joon, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapoor and Samuel L. Jackson, among others.
In addition to directing, Nia DaCosta also wrote the screenplay along with Megan McDonnell, Elisa Karasik and Zeb Wells.
