Shocking is the information that has come to light from the brazen robbery that took place early on the morning of Saturday, September 3, in a first floor house on 25th March Street in Pronoia Nafplio.
According to the latest information, two perpetrators, not having their faces covered, broke into the house and at gunpoint immobilized the three family members, the two parents and their young son, tying their hands with plastic belts.
They then took money and valuables and left the house.
The police began to receive a barrage of calls from neighbors and people who saw the two perpetrators running on their street and the water chasing them.
The perpetrators of the robbery crossed the area of Pronoia and Synoikismus and stopped at the traffic lights of Argos Street with X. Trikoupi when one of them collapsed from a stroke.
Cleaning workers of the Municipality of Nafplion were at the scene who, without knowing what exactly had happened, rushed to help the perpetrator who had collapsed, informing the Argolis EMS.
The perpetrator who suffered the stroke is hospitalized in critical condition under guard at the hospital, while the second perpetrator is at the Argolida police headquarters where he is being interrogated.
Residents of Nafplio who saw what happened describe with horror the scenes that unfolded in the center of the city and wonder what else will happen to crime and how shameless the perpetrators of such incidents have become.
The photos are from the scene of the arrest of the perpetrators and the video from the route taken by the perpetrators with the young victim of the robbery chasing them:
